Edgar Music Co., Ltd. 艾格音樂有限公司 is a Taipei studio for original score and sound post-production, founded in November 2017 by composer Sheng-Hsiung Hsu 許勝雄 on a simple conviction: the stories Taiwan tells the world deserve score and sound made to international standard. The studio works across film, television, OTT platforms and games.
Its first years put that mission on global screens: original score production for the Netflix original series Shards of Her 她和她的她 (2022); The Making of an Ordinary Woman 俗女養成記 (2019–2021) for CATCHPLAY and CTS, whose second season was nominated for drama score at the 57th Golden Bell Awards; and PTS’s Who Killed the Good Man 大債時代 (2021).
Alongside score, the studio delivers the full sound chain — design, dialogue, ADR and Foley, and the final mix in stereo or 5.1 surround — carrying documentaries and series from the first cue to delivery. Edgar Music works in English and Mandarin.

Edgar Music was founded by composer and sound producer Sheng-Hsiung Hsu 許勝雄 — twenty-plus years in Taiwanese screen music, more than a hundred personal credits across the island’s defining television eras, and Golden Bell Award nominations in both craft categories: sound, with Flavor of Life 含笑食堂 (48th, 2013 — a personal credit prior to the studio’s founding), and drama score, with The Making of an Ordinary Woman 2 俗女養成記 2 (57th, 2022, an Edgar Music production).
